Translation of Dictionarium Latino Lusitanicum, ac Iaponicum

Dictionarium Latino Lusitanicum aclaponicum (1595), a Latin-Portuguese-Japanese dictionary, was edited by the Jesuits in Japan, based on the Latin dictionary Calepinus. The talk would like to consider the background of this publication and the process of its translation.
