The Japanese Imperial Family

Japan is regarded as one of the most modern countries of the world, but it is still a monarchy, with the world’s most ancient imperial dynasty ruling since the beginnings of the existence of the Japanese state. The presentation shows the role and significance of the Japanese Emperor today, with some historic background of this importance. It will also provide some interesting information on the members of the present-day Imperial Family and their public life.
