Film screening: Of Color and Ink

Zhang Weimin, director and Prof. Carl Nagin, Conservatory of Music, San Francisco

The Institute of East Asian Art History is showing the 2023 documentary film "Of Color and Ink" by director Zhang Weimin. The film concentrates on the artist Zhang Daqian's post-1949 period in Argentina, Brazil, Europe and the USA. The film will then be discussed in an audience talk together with the director and Prof. Carl Nagin (Conservatory of Music, San Francisco). A Reception will follow in R.010.00.06.
