introduces the project “Japanese Buddhist Art in European Collections"
Yamamoto Satomi, Professor at Kyoritsu Women's University, Tokyo
discusses one Buddhist painting in the collection of the Museum of Ethnology, Heidelberg
Morizane Kumiko, Curator at the Kyushu National Museum, Dazaifu,
explores a Buddhist painting in the collection of the Museum of Ethnology, Heidelberg
Shimatani Hiroyuki, Director of the Kyushu National Museum, Dazaifu
presents new insights into the histories of calligraphy and performs calligraphy
Talks are followed by a performance of calligraphy by Shimatani Hiroyuki, and free discussions including questions to the professional art photographer, Yoshiaki Yoshioka
