Alle Termine der Veranstaltung 'Recalibrating Culture – Reenvisioning the (Trans-)Cultural – C’est quoi la (trans-)culture?':

The interactive lecture series "Recalibrating Culture – Reenvisioning the (Trans-)Cultural – C’est quoi la (trans-)culture?" introduces key players from various disciplines and fields engaged in re-envisioning a new phenomenology of (trans-)culture from different angles. Its goal is to reconsider the (trans-)cultural in response to post-culturalists, neo-naturalists, neo-materialists, post-humanists, techno-scientists and other such approaches, all of which offer a new perspective on anthropocentrism, both with regard to what only appears as a self-evident binary: culture and nature.

Since this is an interactive series, it provides unconventional formats and requires preparation from its participants. Readings for each of the talks are available on HeiBox: https://heibox.uni-heidelberg.de/d/f247ad0054/. The goal is to practice reading-in-conjunction: should participants have materials from their own area of specialization or expertise, they are welcome to bring them to the discussion.
