NAR Lecture: Progress on the Road to Preventing Alzheimer's Disease through Targeting the Amyloid Aβ Pathway:

Prof. Dr. Colin Masters, Melbourne University, Florey Insitute of Neuroscience and Mental Health

Prof. Colin L. Masters is currently the Co-Head of the Neurodegeneration Division of the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health (Melbourne, Australia) and one of the world’s leading experts in the field of neurodegenerative disorders. Over the past 30 years, his research has been primarily focused on the pathology of Alzheimer’s, Creutzfeldt-Jakob, and Kuru diseases. In collaboration with Prof. Konrad Beyreuther Prof. Colin L. Masters has analysed the role of amyloid plaques in Alzheimer’s disease.
