Wednesday | 06:15 PM | Ink Without Ink Song Dong, Artist (Beijing) Song Dong 宋冬 (b. 1966) is a world-renowned conceptual artist who incorporates performance, photography, and sculpture in his installations. His major works, Show of Oil Paintings (1992), Stamping the Water (1996), Breathing (1996), and Touching, includes the poignant Waste Not 物尽其用 (2005). He was recognized with the UNESCO/ASCHBERG Bursary Laureate in 2000 and the Grand Award, Gwanju Biennale 2006. Song Dong graduated with a BA from Capitol Normal University in 1989.
